1. Who may contribute
You must be a signed-in household owner or adult, be at least 18 or the legal age of majority, have an approved or reviewable Community name, and have authority to accept these terms. Community names should be pseudonyms and must not impersonate another person or reveal unnecessary personal information.
2. What is submitted
CORE creates a separate snapshot of the selected recipe title, supported image, cooking details, tags, ingredients, and instructions, along with the Community name, consent version and time, moderation state, and later aggregate import and rating activity. Private household edits after submission do not alter the snapshot. Unsupported external image links are omitted.
3. Your ownership and representations
You retain any rights you have in the submission. You represent that you created the submitted material or have all rights and permissions needed to let CORE and other households use it as described here. You must review AI-generated material before submission. Do not submit confidential information, personal information, a private family story, a person's likeness, branded or copied editorial text, or a photograph unless you have permission.
Ingredient lists and simple preparation directions may receive limited copyright protection, but expressive descriptions, photographs, illustrations, collections, and copied wording can be protected. You are responsible for using your own wording and authorized media.
4. License to CORE and households
You grant Wacky Engineering a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, validate, moderate, format, display, distribute within CORE, and create technical adaptations of the submitted snapshot for operating and promoting the CORE Community Cookbook. You also authorize Wacky Engineering to let signed-in CORE households import the approved snapshot into their private household workspace and use, edit, and save that independent copy for personal household purposes.
This is not a sale or transfer of ownership. The contribution is voluntary and unpaid; no royalties, attribution beyond the approved Community name, revenue share, employment, partnership, or endorsement are promised.
5. Moderation, publication, and ratings
A submission is pending and unavailable to other households until Wacky Engineering approves the recipe and Community name. Wacky Engineering may approve, reject, unpublish, suspend, or remove content or a Community identity for quality, safety, privacy, rights, technical, legal, or policy reasons. Approval is not an endorsement or verification of accuracy, nutrition, allergy safety, food safety, ownership, or suitability.
Households that import a recipe may rate it. Ratings are opinions and may be aggregated. Manipulating ratings, identities, or imports is prohibited.
6. Revisions
Editing the private recipe does not change the Community snapshot. To update published content, submit a new snapshot and accept the then-current contribution terms. Every revision requires moderation. The last approved version can remain available while a revision is pending. A pending revision may be canceled before approval.
7. Withdrawal and deletion
Withdrawal immediately hides the Community listing and prevents new discovery and imports, but keeps the Community record available to the contributor and operator. A permanent-deletion request also hides the listing immediately and queues CORE's Community-hosted listing, versions, ratings, and linked attribution for deletion after a 30-day security and audit period, subject to legal preservation needs.
Withdrawal or deletion does not remove independent copies already imported into other household workspaces. Those copies have new identifiers, may have been edited, and are controlled by the importing household. Removing a private source recipe removes the linked Community listing, subject to the same limits on existing imports.
8. Privacy and account actions
The catalog exposes the approved Community name and recipe, not the contributor's email, household, account ID, or Family Profile. Wacky Engineering privately links the Community identity to the adult account for moderation, rights requests, abuse prevention, and deletion. See the Privacy Policy. Suspending or terminating an account may also suspend Community content.
9. Relationship to CORE Terms
The CORE Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. If these contribution terms conflict with the general Terms on a Community submission, these contribution terms control for that submission. The terms version stored with the snapshot is the version accepted for that submission.
